The first two images in this set depict a visit to the West Coast many years ago resulting in two works, a pen and ink watercolour representing the temperate rainforest from broad landscape to the microcosm of the forest floor, and a surreal tapestry of a mountain/ocean sunset. After living on the West Coast for the last two years these same images and more have inspired many works. Browse and enjoy a more realistic image of the islands in the Strait of Georgia south of Parksville using acrylics; several abstract watercolour land and seascapes; and a surreal watercolour sunrise.

Pat Carroll is a west coast artist working on Vancouver Island. She can be contacted by e-mail and arrangements for studio tours can be scheduled. Also the sale of her art work can be discussed. This gallery will be changing on a regular basis to reflect the breadth and scope of her work. She works in many media: fibre, water colour, pen and ink, and acrylic as well as combinations at times.
