In all of Pat Carroll's work, there is the element of the fantastic, something fanciful beyond reality, a twist or a blend of the real and abstract somewhere in the garden of her mind. The following six paintings are works of art that have been featured as covers for books published by Ascent Aspirations Publishing with the exception of one which is the permanent cover picture for the home page of Ascent. This picture represents a n Anazasi kiva ladder and symbolizes the ascent from one world to another.

Pat Carroll is a west coast artist working on Vancouver Island. She can be contacted by e-mail and arrangements for studio tours can be scheduled. Also the sale of her art work can be discussed. This gallery will be changing on a regular basis to reflect the breadth and scope of her work. She works in many media: fibre, water colour, pen and ink, and acrylic as well as combinations at times.
