Life was Wasted on the Dead

If we are to define what life is - it would be karyotic cells. Plants are alive. Some scientists would argue that viruses are also alive, since they have many similar functions to that of a cell. For us humans, life is a conscious state of mind. I think, therefore I am. I have written this text, therefore I am. Of all living things, if we think of the colossal amount of humans and other animals existing on earth…the main thing that puts us all together is missing. Why are we here in the first place? What is the function of life? Someone once told me that the purpose of humans being on earth is to help other people that are in need. Well if this is so, why create humans to begin with if you need to create even more just for them to survive? This theory sounds like a waste of time and energy. It would be just like saying, "I am going to make an ant farm with ants that eat each other…and when the ants start eating each other I am going to put even more ants in so the other ants will survive and eat the new ants…" and thus a vicious circle is made. Yet another brain dead theory has been voiced, and this is that humans are created sinful and their goal in life is not to be happy, but holy. (Yes this theory was stated by a priest). So a God made humans and animals, purely for the reason that he wanted selected few of only the humans to become holy while the rest rot in Hell, or wherever sinful people and animals go to (since animals are not given the chance to become holy in the first place). It would appear that all hypothesis of why life is created is a shot in the dark. Nobody knows.

Let us proceed onwards, and the next question states: now that we are alive, what do we do? Nearly everyone goes out, gets a family and a job to support themselves. They use up all of the time and energy they are given to be able to have a stable life style. Well, screw stability. Why can't people see that a life predictable from beginning to end is a life not worth having at all? Who wants to watch a movie when they already can see the ending? People have utterly thrown away their lives, spending it on complaining and doing trivial things, like washing and cleaning, and never actually going out and searching for a reason. This is not important, and if you prioritize such things, I already hate you.

The world is a globe mainly filled with water. Humans barely put an impression on the Earth. Some people in life have found a purpose that suits them, and this might be to never be forgotten. In desperation and vanity, they might leave a diary, a poem, or money behind, anything that will make them be remembered. Hopeful, they part from the living thinking that their existence has become immortal through memories. But the people that find these impressions which are left behind will also die. It makes no difference whether you are remembered and loved after your death, because the people that remembered and loved you will die, and eventually your memory will fade from this Earth as well. The only thing that could truly last as an impression would be carving the mountains, or destroying the land. Then the world would bear you in its memory.

Let us not get caught up in small details. You eat, you sleep, you think and inevitably one day you will die. If you lived a life of misery or great happiness, it makes no significance. Live your life to its fullest limits. Feel alive. No one else will care, since one day even you will be forgotten. Just don't waste your time thinking about the smallest of things, like gossip or order. As long as you have accepted that fact that one day you will die. Then your life has been used up. You do not matter, since no one's life has an impact on the cosmos. In this sense, live or die, even the dead have not contributed to the universe. Their lives were meaningless as well. So let me conclude with that life was wasted on the dead.
