The barrenland tundra of the NWT Arctic offers thousands of huge, un-explored, un-fished and un-named lakes for the adventerous angler

#48 lb. laker trout on upper Thelon - we see LOTS of trout each week that are in the 'trophy' range of #20-40 lbs - the largest to date - 51 lbs!

 

#5 lb. Arctic grayling on upper Thelon.  the grayling fishing here is some of the world's best - we see LOTs of grayling in the 3 to 4.5 lb range - largest to date - 5.2 lbs!

 

In the August trips, we often see hundreds and hundreds of caribou migrate throug the Whitefish Lake area

 

Big laker on Whitefish Lake - due to the cold water, lake trout are usually in shallow water ranging from 5-20 feet down.

 

Flying in our 18' Misty River boat by helipcopter from Yellowknife cost us $17,000.00 - It was worth it!

 

Fresh fish shorelunches are prepared daily on our American Plan / guided trips

 

Inside one of the sleeping quonsets located at both Whitefish camps - warm, clean and heated!
