When Galen & Barbara Rowell joined us for their second trip on the barrens in 1998, he managed to get this awesome first-light photo of the esker in autumn colors right behind the Great Canadian Wilderness camp on the Upper Thelon River in Canad's Northwest Territories. This photo later became the cover for the new Great Canadian color brochure in 1999.
